National Peace Ambassador, Clemence Gyato on New Year day organised a new year party for “Kayayees”, persons with disability and the vulnerable from areas such as Agbogbloshie, Tudu, Tema Station, Osu and Zongos at the premises of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly.
Delivering a brief speech at the gathering, the National Peace Ambassador praised the hardworking “kayayees” for their immense contribution towards Nation building and gave them assurance of governments commitment to actualize its promise of building hostels and training centers for them.

He added that, 200 people from their quarters would be awarded with scholarship this year.
Mr. Gyato then admonished the young ladies gathered not to flirt around with men since this actions when taken goes along way to affect them hence the need for them to behave responsible.
He also advised the ladies to restrain from bleaching their bodies and skin all in the name of beauty enhancement.
