Executives of Nyamedua Herbal Foundation, organizers of Ghana Herbal Awards were full of smiles outlining the impact of the maiden edition last year. The launch of the 2019 edition took place at Grand Casamora Hotel, Accra where the team behind the show promised to deliver the best of a show.
Ghanaian actress who also doubles as the founder of the award scheme , Cecilia Gyase Konamah, popularly called Abena Ghana, pleaded passionately with the government of Ghana to turn his head towards the herbal medicine practitioners in the country. She stated the challenges the industry faces and the main one was lack of support even though more people are beginning to believe in herbal medicine.
The Ghana Herbal Awards 2019 is taking place at Miklin Hotel in Kumasi on April 22. Organizers embarked on free screening activities across selected regions in the country in 2018 and used the opportunity to educate people on the benefits of personal hygiene and its contribution to total well-being.
