Ghana’s minister of finance, Hon. Ken Ofori-Atta marked his 60th birthday today, 7th November 2019. Graced by the day to celebrate the Investment banker were big names in Ghana’s Politics and the Clergy. Notably among them was the President of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo and wife Madam Rebecca Akuffo Addo.
People from all walks of life had well wishes and Goodwill messages for the Minister. But one that caught the attention of many was the message from founder of Dankwah Institute, Gabby Otchere Darko revealed that Databank co-founder Ken Ofori-Atta (the current Minister of Finance), bankrolled Nana Akufo-Addo’s three presidential campaigns which eventually saw him get to the Presidency.
The statement made by Gabby Otchere Darko has raised a few eye balls with some people questioning the truth in it.
Ghanaian businessman King Oscar Yao Doe has quashed the inaccurate and “false statements” made by G. O. D, and has revealed the fact about the real bankroller for President Nana Addo back in 2007. According to HRH Yao Doe, he played a major role financially behind the scenes more than the so called campaign contribution collector “Hon. Ken Ofori – Atta”
