Video: Ban Counsellor Lutterodt from making appearances on radio and TV-Gender Minister

There is an immense pressure and petition from a section of the public to get Ghana’s most controversial Counsellor Lutterodt ban from making appearance on media stations.

Counsellor Lutterodt in one of his appearance on Adom TV asserted that rape victims actually enjoy being raped, he stated in every act of raping there is an enjoyment by the victim.

Speaking to Valentina Ofori Afriyie on 12 Live on Class91.3FM on Friday, 10 July 2020, Mrs Morrison stated that she “was surprised a sane human being can sit on radio and television and make some utterances.”

“Has he raped somebody before? Does he know how rape victims feel about being raped… it is sad that the interview went on. What was the programme about? How can somebody behave like that? This is so insane. This is just not right,” she stated.

Meanwhile, the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection Cynthia Mamle Morrison has described as “insane”, a comment made by George Lutterodt popularly referred to as Counsellor Lutterodt on live television on Thursday 9 July 2020.

His statement has since received wide condemnation from the public via social media with a petition championed by actress Ama K. Abebrese to Government to get the Counsellor ban from radio and television.
