We want to give the Creative Arts industry a focus – Vice President, Dr. Bawumia asserts

Ghana’s vice president, His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in an interview with ‘Chairman General’ Kwami Sefa Kayi in the studios of Peace Fm has revealed that Government wants to give the creative arts industry a focus and consider it as a major growth poll.

As monitored by sammykaymedia.com, the vice president said the creative arts industry is one major pillar of the economy that can create massive jobs and employment for the youth hence government commitment to pass the creative arts bill when parliament resumes possibly in October and that will activate the creation of the creative art fund which will immensely help the industry.

He further added the government is also on course to building national theatres in some selected regions like Takoradi, Kumasi and Tamale and also with collaboration from the private sector build recording studios in Accra, Kumasi, Tamale and Takoradi to help the youth with talents but are unable to have access to recording studios.
