The long awaited Creative Arts Industry Bill has finally been passed into law

The much awaited Creative Arts Bill has been passed into law by the Parliament of Ghana today, Thursday, 17th December, 2020.

The Bill is expected to streamline and fast track the growth of the sector and amongst others establish the Creative Arts Fund and an agency to promote the Creative Arts industry.

The passing of this bill will see a face lift of the creative arts industry and an upsurge of the industry.

This will also enable the government to organise the sector and create an enabling environment to attract support for creatives and industry players to postively impact on national development and add up to the nations GDP.
