Veteran Gospel musician, Yaw Sarpong has donated several items to the Korle-bu Accident unit, a gesture he carried out to commemorate and celebrate his birthday.
In the company of his ‘partner’, Maame Tiwaa and some close pals, Yaw Sarpong was allowed entry to the accident ward where he sung his famous “Wo hao ni sen” to uplift the accident victims that all hope is not lost.
To his adimiration, one victim sung along when he was ministering.
Speaking on his behalf after the donation, his manager, Nana Poku Ashis revealed that Yaw Sarpong is set to partner with the Korle-bu Teaching hospital yo raise funds to support the accident unit.
Some couple of months ago, Yaw Sarpong and his crew were involved in a ghastly accident on the Accra-Kumasi highway after returning back from a show at Kumasi.
Had it not be the grace of God, he together with Maame Tiwaa would not be counted among the living, hence his motivation to embark on this journey yo support the accident unit at Korle-bu Teaching Hospital.
