HON. MUNTAKA APOLOGIZES FOR SPEAKING LIES ABOUT SUPREME COURT JUDGES

NDC Member of Parliament for Asawase and Minority Chief whip, Hon. Mohammed-Mubarak Muntaka has issued a formal written retraction and apology to the Supreme Court for the allegation he made about a Supreme Court judge allegedly seeking to compromise one of their (NDC) members over the speakership elections prior to the commencement of the eighth parliament under the fourth republic.

The Asawase legislator is reported to have alleged that a certain Supreme Court Judge attempted to bribe a member of parliament of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to vote for the immediate past Speaker of Parliament, Professor Aaron Mike Oquaye against the candidate of the NDC, Mr Alban S.K. Bagbin.
