‘Dr. UN’ popularly known as Kwame Owusu Fordjuor has reportedly been arrested.
Reports suggests he was picked up at the premises of Kumasi-based radio station, Hello FM by National Security operatives after an interview on Friday.
Spearheading an award which many
has been described as a scam following revelations that it had no affiliation with the United Nations (UN) as he had touted.
Mr Fordjuor who happens to be the organiser of the ‘Global Blueprint Excellence Awards’ after being picked by National Security for his fraudulent award scheme which he affiliates to the United Nations and the Kofi Annan foundation to make the award scheme appear credible in a video which has surfaced online shows Mr Fordjuor being whisked out of the Hello FM by persons believed to be with the country’s security agencies while some staff of the station looked on amidst some exchanges.
But few hours after his arrest, social media users are circulating video of hearty ‘Dr UN’ behind bars with excitement.

Dr UN arrested in Kumasi after interview on Hello FM According to a report filed by PeaceFM's correspondent and HelloFM's General Manager, Samson K. Nyamekye, 'Dr. UN' has been on the radar of the security agencies for quite some time now, after a fake award ceremony he organized at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi in the Ashanti Region. He was arrested after it was reported that the award scheme held in 2018 was fake and subsequently tried by a Magistrate Court in Asokore-Mampong.
