Embattled Ghanaian actress, Rosemond Alade Brown widely known as Akuapem Poloo will serve 60 days of her 90 days prison term if she behaves well in jail according to the Chief Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Prisons Service, Courage Atsem.
In a news items on UTV as monitored by sammykaymedia.com, the Prisons PRO explained that persons convicted for non-first degree felony offences just like the case of Akuapem Poloo, one is qualified for one-third remission sentence.
This means that, if your offence is not the first degree felony type, it qualifies you to be given one-third remission, hence Akuapem Poloo’s total sentence of 90 days will be computed and a third of it will be deducted which makes it 60 days, two-thirds of her full sentence.
Sexy Poloo pleaded guilty for posting a nude photo of herself and her seven-year-old son on his birthday on social media, therefore was sentenced to 90 days in prison by an Accra Circuit Court presided over by Christiana Cann.
