Media personality and comedienne, Afia Schwarzeneggar has lambasted the companies and brands who went to the aid of young Oswald after his “Our day letter” to his mum went viral on social media.
In a video sighted by sammykaymedia.com on her instagram page, Afia Schwar described the likes of companies such as; KFC, MTN, Vodafone and others as hypocrites, who only used the day for cheap publicity.
She sarcastically labelled MTN Ghana as a miser brand who could only give the nine years old boy a cake, whilst it’s main competitor Vodafone was offering data packages for both the boy and the school he attends.
The vociferous Afia Schwar in her submission in the video, however queried why top brands would donate to a boy who comes from a comfortable background yet will not respond to calls to help out needy children and deprived communities when they knock on their doors.
