Police arrest Rev. Owusu Bempah and 3 others for attacking Police officers at his Church

The Police have arrested the leader and founder of the Glorious Word Power Ministry, Rev. Owusu Bempah and some other three persons.

In a press release signed by the acting Director-General, Public affairs, ACP Kwesi Ofori, he stated that the suspects are currently in police custody and will appear before court today Monday, September 13, 2021.

The police embarked on an operation at the premises of Rev. Owusu Bempah Church’s to arrest suspects over the creation and circulation of multiple videos containing threats, and brandishing of a weapon and the assault of some police personnel.

In the course of the police operation, members and the Rev. Owusu Bempah men resisted the arrest, who within the week went to the house of repented Nana Agradaa to cause some mayhem.

But during the process of the arrest, 3 police officers sustained injuries and are currently receiving treatment at the police hospital in Accra.
