Former France ambassador to Ghana, Anne Sophie Avè has once again revealed how much she loves Ghana. She disclosed that she is back into the country for a mission this time around.
Speaking in interview with Blogger Sammy Kay, the French diplomat could not hide her excitement coming ‘home’. According to her, she has a home here in Ghana and would choose to stay here in Ghana over France anyday.
During the interview, Anne Sophie Avè explained her new role as France Ambassador for Public Diplomacy in Africa. She indicated that her new position requires her to travel around the continent and strengthen french ties with African countries. However, she indicated that she comes to Ghana to spend some days when she has the time.
The former France ambassador touched on her relationship with Ghanaian musicians and entertainers and described it as the best.
That notwithstanding, the French diplomat revealed that during her time in the country, she never knew Sarkodie and Stonebwoy weren’t cool. Hence, had a wish Stonebwoy and Sarkodie could one day perform on one stage.
According to her, she was emotional and excited when she saw both Stonebwoy and Sarkodie on stage performing last year.
Even though the two musicians had a fallout back in 2020. It was refreshing they buried the hatchet and performed on one stage in December 2022.
They both showed support by performing together on each others concert last December. They thrilled patrons with spectacular performance on songs they have collaborated on.
Anne Sophie described them as top professionals. This is alsbased on the fact that even at the time they had their ‘beef’, they pulled through to make the ‘Accra in Paris’ a success.

The affable diplomat and entertainment enthusiast, has promised to support comedians in Ghana. And just like what she did for musicians, Anne has set the motion already as she touched down in Ghana.
