Legendary Ghanaian footballer, Asamoah Gyan has officially retired from football.
He retired as Ghana’s all time leading goal-scorer with 51 goals with 109 national caps.
Asamoah Gyan made the announcement of his retirement when he spoke at the 30th Afreximbank Annual Meeting at the Accra International Conference Centre. He spoke on the theme: ” Sports as a New Creative Industry Opportunity for Inclusive Growth: Insights from a professional”
He played for 11 clubs across eight countries and 2 continents.
