Black Meteors player begs GFA to pay his winning bonus to enable him treat his illness

Black Meteors and Legon Cities FC player, Emmanuel William Essu is pleading to the Ghana Football Association to pay him his winning bonus to enable him treat his ill health.

In a letter sighted by sammykaymedia.com, which was drafted to the coach of the Black Meteors Ibrahim Tanko. The player pleaded with the coach to act as a liason for him to get his money.

According to him, he has used all his saved capital for his health treatment but to no avail. He added that he has also been to several health centers for him to get well but hus condition still remains the same.

In view of that, he updated his coach on his ill health and humbly requested for the release of the Black Meteors winning bonus. Thus, the win against Algeria to enable him have some money for his medical treatment. This is because he has exhausted all his means to treat himself.

Essu, missed out on the final Black Meteors squad at the U-23 Afcon hosted by Morocco. He became ill whiles in camp ahead of the tournament.

Netizens have been incensed about the GFA neglect of the young footballer. Many have urged the Football Association to do the needful and further make sure the player get full medical attention.
