Ghanaian musician, Black Sherif has once again choked a great feat by gaining nomination at the 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards. He has earned a nomination in the highly competitive Best International Flow category.
The event is scheduled to take place in Atlanta on October 3, 2023, and promises to celebrate 50 years of hip-hop culture.
Black Sherif faces stiff competition from a diverse lineup of talented rappers. Which includes three fellow Africans. Aka and K.O from South Africa, and Zimbabwe’s Sampa The Great. Other nominees hail from around the world. Gazo from France, Central Cee and J Hus from the UK, Major Rd and Ninho from Brazil, and Tasha & Tracie, also representing Brazil.
This marks Blacko’s second consecutive nomination in the same category. His consistent impact in the global hip-hop scene is undeniable. Last year’s award went to Benjamin Epps, but this year, Black Sherif aims to secure the recognition he deserves.
