Ghanaian Afro-Pop singer, Wiyaala has apologized to musicians who felt offended by her rants last weekend following a statement made by Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo and JMJ on Ghanaweb Bloggers Forum show.
As monitored by sammykaymedia.com, Wiyaala in an interview with George Quaye on “Showbiz A to Z” stated … “I want to apologize to all musicians who were offended by my statement and to Arnold Asamoah-Baido,”.
A couple of days ago on the Bloggers forum show on Ghanaweb TV, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo stated that, Wiyaala was doing well on the international market but the same cannot be said in the Ghanaian music scene.
The statement made by the renowed entertainment critic possibly misunderstood by Wiyaala, infuriated the singer to came out strongly to warn him and other entertainment pundits to stop mentioning her name in their discussions if they think she isn’t relevant in the Ghanaian music industry.
The lioness of Africa also fired shots in her outburst at some Ghanaian musicians by stating that she won’t portray foolishness just to win an award or gain attention from the media.
Well, upon reflection of everything that has happen in the past few days, she has finally come out to apologise to all who felt offended and with a special mentioning of Arnold’s name when she was interviewed.
Arnold on the other hand has also taken to his instagram handle to acknowledge the apology from Wiyaala, he wrote …”Thank you !”.
