More prominent individuals keep visiting the family home of the late Christian Atsu . The sudden and unfortunate demise of the Ghananian soccer player has hit many people so hard.
People from all walks of life after Christian Atsu mortal remains touched down in Ghana over the weekend have visited the family. Since the announcement of his death, Ghanaians have paid their tribute and commiserated with the family.
Popularly Gospel musician, Diana Asamoah on Friday, 24th February 2023 also took her turn to visit the family house of Christian Atsu.
According to Diana Asamoah, the late Black Stars player was dear to Ghanaians. She said it is not only the family that has lost, but also the world has lost a great soul.
Whiles, addressing the family on her visit, Diana Asamoah indicated that Atsu has completed his mission on earth. She also added that the Bible has admonished us that in all things we should give thanks to God. Hence the family should take consolation in the word of God.
Diana Asamoah however eulogized the former Newcastle player for doing the Lord’s work. She described Atsu as a man of God for taking care of the poor and the needy whilst he was alive.
Christian Atsu was confirmed dead on Saturday, February 18, 2023. He had been trapped under rubble for 12 days having been involved in the earthquake disaster. This was a day after scoring the winning goal for his club Hatayspor in the Turkish Super Lig game against Kasimpasa.
