Ghana’s Court of Appeal has dismissed an appeal filed by ex-wife of former Black Stars player, Nii Odartey Lamptey, regarding the ownership of a seven-bedroom property at East Legon.
Ex-wife of the retired footballer, Gloria Appiah appealed to the court to grant her ownership of the ex-Ghanaian international’s seven-bedroom house at East Legon.
She wanted that house as part of her compensation package after their failed marriage.
Gloria Appiah was not happy with the Accra High Court’s ruling that ordered her to vacate the property hence her decision to appeal the ruling.

After battling the case at the Appeal court, the court dismissed her case as all three judges who sat on it said she did not deserve the property, thereby ordering her to move out as soon as possible.
Ghanaians and the world was in shock when Odartey Lamptey opened up that the three children he raised with ex-wife Gloria Appiah, were not his biological children.
Odartey Lamptey after this ruling has expressed his happiness in an interview stating that he is relieved and excited and also thanked God for the finality of his seven years battle at the court for his property after his failed marriage as a result of his ex-wife infidelity.
