Ghanaian businessman, Oscar Yao Doe has stated unequivocally that the chairperson for Ghana’s Electoral Commission must resign.
In a post sighted by sammykaymedia.com, the philanthropist stated among many reasons that for Madam Jean Meansah to pre record election results in advance is illegal and also not enshrined in Ghana’s electoral laws hence his call for the immediate resignation of the EC Chairperson.

The Law Says;After Every Election The National Returning Officer (EC Chair) Must Tabulates All Presidential Results From Each Constituency Across Ghana And Announce The Candidate With Most Votes.The Law Didn’t Say The Returning Officer Should Pre Determined The Outcome, Or Recorded The Outcome And Later Broadcast It Through The Media.”THAT IS A COMPLETE FRAUD” So Therefore Whomever Benefited From Such Illegal Act Was Actually “Fraudulent Elect” Ghanaians Must Reject This Sakawa Election. The Law Also “Only” Empowered Returning Officers From Each Constituency To Collate And Declared Parliamentary Results.The Law Didn’t Place That Constitutional Powers Into Any Regional Electoral Officers Hands.
REGIONAL COLLATION AND REGIONAL DECLARATIONS ARE ILLEGAL BASED ON THE ELECTORAL LAWS WHICH EMPOWERED RETURNING OFFICERS FROM EVERY CONSTITUENCY TO COLLATE AND DECLARED.
