Electoral Commission debunk claims by Minority Caucus of its refusal to receive petition

The Electoral Commission of Ghana has issued a statement to reject claims made by the minority MPs that its leadership failed to receive a petition over the December 7 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary results.

The Electoral Commission stated that ror the record, the Electoral Commission wishes to inform the General Public that it did not receive prior notice of the said presentation of the petition from the Minority Caucus.

Also the Commission added …“Indeed, the Electoral Commission later learned that the Minority in Parliament delivered the said letter informing the Electoral Commission of its intended presentation scheduled for today Tuesday the 22nd of December at 10:08 this morning,”
