Ghana’s Electoral Commission in a statement released, have taken steps to dismiss three of its temporary electoral officials at the Sagnarigu Municipality in the Northern Region.
The statement released by the Commission and signed by its Acting Director of Public Affairs, Sylvia Annoh, on Saturday 4th July, 2020 stated that the Electoral Commission was formally notified of the theft of eight Form 1A forms from its District Office at the Sagnarigu Municipality in the Northern Region.
The forms were stolen by a Polling Agent of one of the Political Parties.
However, the Commission assures the General Public that it will not shield or protect any staff permanent or temporary, who engages in misconduct during the Voters Registration Exercise.
