Media guru, Francis Doku, General Manager of 3Group, a subsidiary of Media General, is exiting the outfit after more than six (6) years. Close sources can confirm.
Francis’ departure is a shock to the industry as no one saw it coming.
His last day in the role as General Manager Of 3Group is Friday (July 7).
Francis Doku first joined the media outfit as General Manager for MG Digital in August 2017, where he played a pivotal role in the growth and success of its digital operations.
He later assumed the position of General Manager for 3Group where he oversaw the management of TV3 and 3FM.
Among the many successes under his watch is Date Rush, one of the most successful television programs currently.
Before joining Media General, Francis Doku worked as the Founder of Maestro Africa Group Limited. He also worked with MediaCom Ghana (now Vizeum), Adams Media Limited (Carat Ghana), and The Rave Group.
A successor is yet to be announced by the media outfit.
