More than 15 individuals have lost their lives in a head-on collision between a Youtong bus and a fuel tanker at Gomoa Okyereko.
The cause of the accident is not readily known. But the rescue team from the Ghana National Fire Service is at the scene at Gomoa Okyereko trying to rescue the mate of the tanker trapped in the vehicle.
Reports indicate that the bus was traveling from Abidjan to Buduburam. Whereas the tanker filled with petrol was from Accra heading towards Takoradi.
The Ghana Ambulance Service and the Police Service are also on-site. Providing support and assistance alongside the GNFS.
