Ghanaian businessman, HRH Oscar Yao Doe has alleged in a post on his instagram handle that Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale and actor Agya Koo has received a total amount of Two million, Two hundred and Fifty thousand Ghana Cedis from the Exim Ghana Bank for no work done.
As sighted by sammykaymedia.com,the businessman described the art of giving monies to these celebrities as bribe and further stated that both Agya Koo and Shatta Wale owes Ghanaians an explanation.
He later added Predident Akufo Addo’s presidency is the biggest scam to hit Ghana because he has squandered the future built for him like his family property.
Background:
During the sittings of Public Accounts Committee (PAC), Members of Parliament’s on the committee questioned the reason for which state-owned Exim Bank Ghana paid about ¢2 million to dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr. popularly known Shatta Wale and others as brand ambassadors.
A member of the committee, Ras Mubarak, said it makes no economic sense for the Exim bank Ghana to pay such huge amount of money to an artiste to promote made in Ghana goods.
