Member of Parliamentary for Assin Central, Hon Kennedy Agyapong today Monday September 28,2020 failed to appear in court on his contempt case.
Lead counsel for the maverick politician, Mr Kwame Gyan, explained to the court that his client had post COVID-19 complication after their last court hearing.

The Lawyer then presented a medical excuse form to the court that suggested his client is unfit on health grounds and requested the court to adjourn the case for fourteen days to allow his client recover.
The presiding judge, Justice Amos Wuntah Wuni agreed to adjourn the case but ordered that the doctor appears before the court to provide the court with some further and better particulars.
Meanwhile, according to Hon. Kennedy Agyapong’s doctor in a radio interview, he said the Honorable member is truly unfit for court appearance and he the doctor is ready to meet the Court to explain why the politician cannot meet them as scheduled.
