Maverick Politician and MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has revealed he tested positive for Covid-19 after his 60th birthday celebration on Tuesday, June 16, 2020.
In a video sighted by sammykaymedia.com, the businessman narrated his near-death ordeal to Adom News’ Alfred Amoh, and stated he lost weight drastically and had to self-isolate for weeks.
He said ……“It was after my 60th birthday party which I resisted so much and it exposed me to people who had already tested positive, I dined with them and even for some people, they did not even have their nose masks on while others had theirs down the chin,” .
He continued his narration by disclosing that for over two weeks he was in quarantine; “my nose was blocked and my bed was as if water had been poured on it coupled with a fever and within five days, I had lost weight drastically,” he asserted.
The MP said he has recovered and not shy to talk about it because he is a testimony, he said the disease is so real and as a country we should not joke with it.
He entreated Ghanaians to comply and adhere stictly to all the laid down safety precaution and protocols to curb the spread of the virus.
Kennedy Agyapong joins the tall list of government and high ranking officials who have all tested positive for Covid-19.
