Popular Ghanaian musician and Lynx Entertainment signee, Kidi has announced his come back. This is after his long absence from the music scene.
A couple of months ago, news went viral on social media that Kidi has been struck down with stroke. The news got alot of Ghanaians worried with many lifting up prayer for him to be healed. So, he can be back as soon as possible.
Because of the false reportage, his Lynx Entertainment management, refuted the false news about him. Fast forward, Richie Mensah, CEO of the record label also came out to admonished Ghanaians to disregard the false news.
There was a bit of relief to his fans after the tweet by Richie. Yet, some people and netizens doubted the tweet by the Lynx boss.
Well, on Friday April 14th, 2023 the “Sugar Daddy” has announced his return via his instagram handle.

He said… A little under two months ago, I made the painful decision of cancelling my tour to take care of my health that included taking time off social media. In that time, I have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love from family, friends, fans and the brands i work with. You all made me feel incredibly loved in this difficult period and i cant appreciate you enough.
Unfortunately, a few bad actors took this as an opportunity to spread false stories that got a lot of you very concerned. While i do not want to give it any more attention, i want to categorically address that those stories were false.
I am glad to be back to doing what i love most. Creating music and performing for you. Thanks for sticking it out with me.

After Kidi’s announcement, many of his followers and fans have welcomed him back. Also, many have expressed their excitement and delight of the return of the “Champagne” hitmaker.
