The pocket of violence that eroded the beauty of the 7th December 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections in some part of Ghana had Ablekuma Central Constituency also witnessing a shooting incident at the collation centre.
According to reports which was confirmed by the NDC Deputy General Secretary, Peter Otukuno during an interview on Okay Fm stated that one Kola, a civilian body guard to Operation Director at the Presidency, Lord Commey was a ploy to overturn the will of the people of Ablekuma Central adding that Kola upon seeing the resistance and massive pulled a gun and fired shots which had some EC officials, Police personel and a journalist sustaining various injuries.
To the dismay of many especially the contituents of Ablekuma Central, “Kola” real name Collins Quarcoo has been left off the hook by the police upon arrest and this becomes one of many shooting incidences he engages himself in.
He is walking a free man after the disgusting and shameful incident which nearly took peoples lives.
