Report indicates Ghanaian Musician, Mzbel real name Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, has been arrested by the Greater Accra Regional Police Command.
According to reports, the host of Restoration and media personality, Stacy Amoateng, reported Mzbel to the police Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service for defamation of character.
The Police Public Relations Officer of CID, DSP Juliana Obeng confirmed this on Adom News earlier today, Monday 24th August, 2020.
Mzbel who doubles as the host of Onua fm’s Odo Nsor’ is reported to have said Stacy is HIV positive per information she got from prophet Nigel Gaisie during her rants on social media when the “Papa no” saga was at its peak.
According to the P.R.O of the CID Accra command, Mzbel came to the CID headquarters on her own but she was officially arrested.
DSP Juliana Obeng stated that Mzbel has been cautioned on Section 208 of the Criminal Code which is on publication of false news and added that, the “I be 16 years” hitmaker is still in police custody pending investigations.
