The time and day many Ghanaians were waiting for came, as the trends, buzz and commentary was all about the Onua Showtime with Nana Ama Mcbrown.
Also, it turned out to be an emotional moment for Nana Ama Mcbrown at the studios of Onua TV. Her husband, Maxwell Mawu Mensah, and their daughter, Baby Maxin, showed up to surprise her on her very first show.
On her blind side, her husband and daughter, Maxin had been at the studio. Whilst she was dazzling and hosting her first-ever live episode of the Onua Showtime with Mcbrown.
As the show progresssed and before the cake-cutting ceremony, Nana Ama McBrown was asked by fellow colleague, Captain Smart to turn around away from the audience. Only for her husband and daughter to walk on set with a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
When she was asked again to face the audience, she knelt down to hug her daughter. McBrown was visibly emotional about the surprise and embraced her family warmly as she shed some tears of joy.
The ever quiet and reserved husband of Mcbrown, Maxwell on Sunday evening said a few words to his wife. He wished her well on her new journey before he planted a kiss on the cheeks. A kiss that got the audience at the studio excited with applause.
The show has already received positive reviews. The first 30 minutes on Onua TV Facebook live had over 10k viewers a clear indication that the launch of “Onua Showtime with McBrown” was huge and successful.
