In a press release signed by the Communications Directorate for the Office of Former President, Jerry John Rawlings, there will be no one-week ceremony celebration held in his honour.
As sighted by sammykaymedia.com, “all flyers and other communication announcing such a ceremony are false and should be ignored.”
The statement signed by Kobina Andoh Amoakwa also added that individuals who wish to call on the family of the late former President to express their condolences will be received by pre-arranged appointments.
