The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has approve the timelines for the party’s Presidential and Parliamentary Primaries.
In a statement signed by the General Secretary of the NPP, Justin Kodua Frimpong the party has fixed November 4, 2023 as the day for the National congress to elect their flagbearer.
Also, the Parliamentary primaries for orphan constituency will be held from August 1 to December 2, 2023. Whereas primaries for constituency with sitting MPs will be held on 24th February, 2023.
The Party further barred National, Regional, Constituency Party Executives and MMDCEs from contesting. Especially in Constituencies where the Party has sitting Members of Parliament.
