Ghana’s President, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo has been elected as the new chairman of the Economic Community of West African States in the 57th ECOWAS Summit held in Niamey, capital of Niger.
He takes over the mantle as Chairperson from President of Niger, H.E Mahamadou Issoufou.
He will run the affairs of the West African States for the next 12 months.
