Ghana’s ‘rap king’, Sarkodie has lost his lawyer, Cynthia Quarcoo Jumu.
Reports indicate Cynthia Quarcoo passed on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 after a short illness.
She is a highly respected corporate and finance legal practitioner in Ghana and the United Kingdom. Also, a founder of Africa 1 Media and CQ Legal. And well known for her role as Sarkodie’s lawyer.
Cynthia Quarcoo Jumu possessed extensive expertise in banking and finance law with a profound understanding of the legal and business environment in Africa.
Notably, she achieved recognition as the first lawyer to establish a specialized Entertainment, Sports, and Media Practice within her Ghanaian law firm, representing talented individuals in the creative and sporting fields.
The news of Cynthia Quarcoo’s demise makes it extra tough for Sarkodie. Especially, during a week where he has been all over the media for the wrong reasons. Yvonne Nelson’s book titled “I am not Yvonne Nelson” made interesting revelation about their past love life. As well as Sarkodie’s refusal to accept responsibility when he impregnated her. Hence, resorted to abortion.
Cynthia was a former cancer survivor. But the unfortunate has happened. Also, Cynthia is survived by 6 children and her external family.
May her soul rest in peace.
