A peaceful protest by Nigerians to end the violence and inhumane treatment meted out to them by SARS have degenerated as military personnels have taken the laws into their own hands by killing innocent protesters.
Due to this development,Social media have been set ablaze as several people and celebrities here in Ghana and outside have expressed their displeasure and anger at what is happening in Nigeria on their respective social media handles.
The protests began some weeks ago with calls for the hated police unit (SARS) to be disbanded, but morphed into demands for wider reforms and more changes in the security forces as well as reforms to the way the country is run.
