Video: “All i need now is a freezer to ice my bottled water”- Amputated man cries for help

The hustle on the streets of Accra is real and even people with disabilities who are vulnerable kn society and should be assisted by the state have taken their own destinies into their hands to feed themselves through means they deem fit.

The story of Daniel Noi Borketey, an amputated man who sells bottled water on the street f the spintex road is heartbreaking yet an inspiring one.

Speaking in an interview with blogger, Sammy Kay on the Go online show, Daniel explained that he was not born amputated but due to an expired injection he received at an early age of 5 years, he became an amputee.

Despite his condition, Daniel indicated that he has always love doing business hence his situation wouldn’t be a barrier to him, reason he finds himself over two years on the street selling bottled water to feed himself and his children who depend on him.

According to him, doctors have advised him to stop what he does in order not to worsen his situation, thus the other leg he walks on, but he is unable to do it because he has duties and responsibilities to take care of.

He however pleaded with Ghanaians to come to his aid by supporting him with a Chest freezer for now to enable him freeze and cool his bottled water to sell to his customers who always demand for it.

He also indicated he has plans to expand his business and in view of that anyone who wants to assist and help him can reach and donate to him through his momo number (0540585761).
