The human spirit is one of ability, perseverance and courage that no disability can steal away. This is exactly the story of Samuel Awuku who currently resides in a deplorable building at ‘Agyei kojo’, Ashaiman.
At a young age of twelve, he was given a wrong medication for an injection at the Tema General Hospital which resulted in him being cripple for the rest of his life.

Life has since not been easy for him from that young age till now. Sharing his ordeal during an interview with Sammy Kay on the Go online show, the disabled tailor with two kids throws more light on his struggle, stereotyped and challenges he has faced and still facing till date.
Despite his current state, he remains very optimistic and hopeful for the future, Mr. Awuku during the interview admonished Ghanaians to be kind and look out for each other irrespective of the persons physical status and also show love and care to the vulnerable in society.
