The benevolent gesture by some well meaning Ghanaians in the fight against the novel Covid-19 pandemic is very much loudable.
The Founder and head pastor of the Glorious Word and Power Ministries International, Apostle Isaac Owusu Bempah has again donated items at the Ghana Prison Service headquarters, Accra.
Making a brief speech after his donation, the man of God said as it was placed on his heart to extend a hand of support by refurbishing a clinic to at Ankaful Prison Complex, Sekondi on his birthday last year, he felt the need to once again support the prison service with the donation. He said Prison service officers have one of the most difficult jobs in Ghana and praised them for their dedication, commitment and hard work. He also called on the public to show massive support to the prison service in the this time of the Covid-19 pandemic because they need it.
Director of Prisons (DOP) , Mr . Patrick Missah, expressed appreciation to Apostle. Dr. Owusu Bempah for his kind gesture to their outfit.
He also revealed that the renovated clinic at Ankaful prison complex will be used to quarantine coronavirus victims if such unfortunate cases should emerge.
