It’s almost six years since the disappearance of Ghanaian musician Castro. Friends and love ones still remember his precious soul, generosity and kindness he exhibited for many during his existence.
In memory of his exploits and continuation of his legacies, Music producer and sound engineer, Jeff Quaye also known as JQ has done the impeccable by celebrating and remembering his lost friend through an instagram live birthday celebration for him.
Industry players such as Sarkodie, Abeiku Santana, Pop Skinny , Alordia ,Kaywa and others shared some memories about Castro.
Sarkodie’s testimony and memory about castro was an interesting one. According to Ghana’s artiste of the decade, Castro is one person who hardly says no to a friend.
He revealed that Castro took offence on an incident that happened between them during a show.
Sarkodie said Castro got angry with him because he refused a stage performance with him because he Sarkodie came to the show purposely to perform with a foreign artiste.
That notwithstanding, cool heads prevailed and were later able to join forces together to record one of his biggest songs “Adonai” featuring Castro.
