Former NPP General Secretary and current Forestry Boss, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, Sir John has been confirmed Dead.
He is reported to have died in Accra, Korle-bu Teaching Hospital after a short illness which sources close to us reveals he gave in after his condition worsened after contracting the novel Covid-19.
He will fondly be remembered for his contemptuous comments made during the 2012 election petition that got him summoned to the Supreme Court of Ghana and also the “fear delegates” comments after he lost his re-election for the general secretary position in 2014.
May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
