Ghanaian gospel artiste, Patience Nyarko has clarified issues relating to the statement she made about Joe Mettle.
During an interview with Sammy Kay on the Go online show, the singer stated that in the kingdom of God, no one is number one, hence the need for Ghanaians to consciously build all artiste to reach the apex.
She admitted to the fact that Joe Mettle is a good singer but she thinks 70 or 80 percent of his songs are old tunes therefore he can’t be the number one gospel artiste.
She added, there is nothing wrong with her statement she made about Joe Mettle being overhyped and stated that she did not insult her fellow colleague therefore she sees no need to apologize to him.
Patience Nyarko stated that it is prudent to appreciate the little efforts made by all musicians rather than rating one above the other.
