Some church leaders and pastors were very expectant to see an end to the ban placed on public gathering that includes church services.
Their wish could not happen when the President of Ghana, H. E Nana Akuffo Addo extended the ban on public gathering till the end of May 2020, which might even be subjected to the prevailing situation at hand due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
During a discussion on Okay 101.7 fm’s Best entertainment program, hosted by Halifax Ansah Addo, Prophet Kumchacha, born Nicholas Osei on a phone interview seem very unhappy with the extension of ban.
According to Prophet Kumchacha, the church needs money to function properly hence the ban is seriously affecting the finances of churches who have responsibilities of paying their pastors and church workers.
He admonish Ghanaians to refrain from tagging the church as always seeking for monies from members and stated that without money you cannot do God’s work.
